On April 1st 2017, Southampton Grad Band joined forces with the Bitterne Park Singers for a musical extravaganza at St Luke’s Church in Hedge End. The evening was filled with music and song culminating in the band and choir joining forces for Beyond the Sea. The evening was all in aid of The Southampton Hospital Charity and, more specifically, the C3 Hamwic Chemotherapy Unit. This charity was very close to the hearts of the band and the choir and through ticket sales and the raffle we raised a fantastic £900 to present to the charity. We were told that the money would go towards more comfortable seating for the waiting area in the unit and specifically, fully reclining chairs for the more poorly patients.
